No it is not. Therapy and Counselling deal with healing pain and issues from the past and dysfunction within the individual. The focus of Coaching is to look at where you are today and where you want to go and support you in achieving those goals.
The best way to discover if I’m the coach for you is to sign up for a free Consultation which will help you to get a feel for my style and how I work with clients. The initial consultation gives you the opportunity to ask whatever questions you might have about my approach, training, fee structure, how coaching works, and how coaching can help.
Once you make the decision to work with me as your coach, we decide how often to meet to get the results that you want. Generally the more often we meet, the quicker that you will see results. We then schedule regular coaching calls at a pre-arranged time. Or we will arrange meeting times and venue if the coaching is to be done by face to face. Calls last from 45-60 minutes, and are followed-up with email support as needed.
Coaching varies from a one-off session to a 6 or 12 week total support package. Please e-mail for full details & prices.

Every coach has his/her own style, and good coaches usually integrate knowledge from different fields that have contributed to coaching. More and more coaching trainings are including some of the most useful NLP skills. However a person who calls him/herself an NLP coach (as opposed to a coach who has learned some NLP) is usually certificated as a Practitioner or Master Practitioner of NLP, and is likely to bring more advanced NLP techniques and skills into coaching. NLP coaches may also have a separate certification as an NLP coach.
